When this Bloomin’ Bouquet Kit came out at the end of April, I immediately knew it would be a good project to do with Jillian for my Mom for Mother’s Day. This kit is awesome because it came with everything you need except for a glue gun. Very easy to make too! My Mom loved it and is now sitting on her desk at work being admired by all!
After the flowers were made, we needed a vase to put them in so I had some more empty Tootsie Roll banks and thought it would be perfect for Jillian to stamp a cover. Sure enough it was perfect! Jillian wanted hearts on the vase so she chose the Hearts a Flutter stamp set from the Spring Catalog stamped in the coordinating colors from the flowers. Guess what? The Hearts of Flutter stamp set will be carrying over into the NEW 2013-2014 Annual Catalog! Woohoo!!!

Last month I held a Best of Birthday’s Bash Class featuring the 25th Anniversary Best of Birthday’s stamp set. This card was designed for my ‘Out with the Old In with the New’ Stamp a Stack class I held last weekend. It features several soon-to-be retiring products – Lucky Limeade cardstock and ink; Blossom Petals Builder Punch, Made for You Stamp Set, Floral District Designer Series Paper and 3/8″ Designer Printed Brads.
You know I love butterflies and when I saw this punch art butterfly made from the Blossom Petals punch from another demonstrator, Julie D. I knew I wanted to create. I am so SAD the Blossom Petals Builder Punch is retiring. It really is great for punch art projects! Don’t miss out and order your Blossom Petals Builder Punch today!
Supplies: Blossom Petals Builder Punch, Build a Blossom stamp set, Cardstock of your choice and Stamp Pad of your choice
Step 1: Stamp 3 Large petals from the Build a Blossom stamp set on cardstock.
Step 2: Using the Blossom Petals Builder Punch, punch out the 3 Large Petals.
Step 3: Using Paper Snips, cut one of the petals in half.
Step 4: Using the Blossom Petals Builder Punch, punch out one skinny leaf (I used black cardstock).
Step 5: Assemble butterfly as shown in pictures
