Alamo Square

Northeast of the Haight, at Hayes and Steiner Streets lies Alamo Square, across from which lies a string of beautiful and colorful Victorian homes, “painted ladies” that have been so often photographed that the view has become known as “Postcard Row.’’ (www.sanfranciscoonline.com)
