So while searching Google and Pinterest, I got inspiration for these ABsolutely adorable ‘Owl Miss You’ treats. What do you think? I used My Digital Studio to create the little tag.

Step 1: Using the Big Shote Die Cutting Machine, cut out a Top Note shape from Chocolate Chip Cardstock.

Step 2: Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score down from point to point on the on long sides. Fold on the score line.

Step 3: Punch out the circles for the eyes (1-3/8″ – Crumb Cake, 1″ – Whisper White, 3/4″ – Basic Black) and adhere together layering to create the eyes.

Step 4: Punch out a small heart in Pumpkin Pie to create the nose.

Step 5: Punch out a 1-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch from Crumb Cake Cardstock for the wings. Using Paper Snips, cut the scalllop circle in half.

Step 6: Adhere all pieces as pictured to create the Owl.

I love the simplistic look of this card! A little outside my normal designs as it so simple which makes it that much better! The sketched cake and the ‘Eat Cake’ sentiment are heat embossed in black to give it that extra little pop.
